Lanarte is a manufacturer of high-quality counted cross-stitch kits
from the Netherlands. They are renowned for their choice of design and the method
by which original paintings are translated beautifully into cross-stitch.

Many Lanarte cross stitch kit designs come with a colour wash effect on the
fabric to add subtle tones to the background.

Some Lanarte cross stitch designs achieve their subtle shading by use of
half cross stitches, some wit single threads.
The threads ( silks ) used by Lanarte are DMC,
albeit they use their own code numbers.

 

Lanarte Platinum cross stitch is a new series of embroidery kits by Lanarte
 in an American design style. This means dramatic, more exuberant and
classical styles with the use of strong colours and multiple back-stitching.
