Derwentwater Designs are owned
by Rose and Sid Swalwell,
operating from Penrith in Cumbria, close by the English Lake District.
The major designer is Rose Swalwell, but other
designers contribute too.
Jean Coates creates the
longstitch kits, Leon Conrad the Blackwork kits
Patricia Ann does the Speciality Samplers and Sue Dakin is
responsible for the long stitch scenes.

Almost all these Derwentwater
counted cross stitch come with aida fabric.
The fabrics used are from Zweigart.
Some designs have a choice of aida counts.
